Casting Lessons
Whether you are on a small mountain stream casting dry flies to brookies or slinging giant streamers with 350 grain lines for stripers, your cast is foundational in being successful in those endeavors. Our instructor has spent years honing his expertise and knowledge in casting, he has taught over 1000 people how to cast in his time as a Fishing Manager for Orvis, and he aims to pass his passion and wisdom on to others. We can focus the lesson on any particular skill you’d like to learn.
Never cast before and want to learn? Want to learn how to better throw heavy sinking lines? Want a lesson on reading the water? Done! We can help you learn all these things and more.

Fly Tying Lessons
If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to tie your own flies, now is the time! Whether you are a novice just getting into fly tying, or an avid fly tyer looking to hone your skills in a particular area, we can help. Our lessons are catered to precisely what you want to learn within the fly tying world, from tying your first Wooly Bugger to shaping intricate Deer hair poppers, we can provide precise instruction to make sure you leave our lesson with the skills to go and tie whatever fly you desire on your own.

Kayak Fishing Lessons
This is a 4-hour on the water lesson focusing on the various aspects of fishing from a kayak and is a great option for anglers who are interested in getting into kayak fishing. We float a short section of river throwing fly or light tackle while focusing on rigging, casting while sitting down, learning to stand in a kayak, reading the water, landing fish, etc.
All equipment is provided.
Two Sessions are Available per day:
Morning: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Afternoon: 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM
(Please chose appropriate start time when booking)

kayak Lessons
This 2 hour lesson is designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of kayaking in a comfortable and relaxed setting. You will learn about proper technique that covers everything from the time your kayak comes off your vehicle to how to get it back on. We will go over water safety basics, paddling techniques, and how to have an enjoyable time on the water. Whether you're a beginner kayaker or a veteran looking to learn a new technique, we can customize this lesson to exactly what you'd like to learn.
All equipment provided, but personal equipment is welcome.
